Dunn Brothers Has South and Central American Beans On Hand

We love the artistry that goes into each cup of coffee we provide. We’re coffee nerds, and we love talking about beans, roast styles, and methods of preparation. We like importing a wide variety of beans, because for us, they’re like paints to use on a canvas. Our roastmasters are the artists. We roast our beans in small batches, in-store, so that we can assure you that the beans that go into your coffee are never more than five days old. We’ve got some awesome South and Central American beans on hand right now that we can’t wait to share with you.

Spicy Beans Come from the Woman Coffee Producers from Chiapas, Mexico

Our featured beans come from Chiapas, Mexico and are the product of an amazing organization. The Women Coffee Producers is a co-op with a mission. In 2005 the organization started with just six women. Now, it has 224 members and produces educational workshops on coffee cultivation. We prepare both a light and dark roast with these beans, each with a spicy profile. The lighter roast is more fruity while the dark roast has dark chocolate notes.

The Costa Rican “Honey” Process Adds Incredible Flavor

Costa Rica and the Las Lajas farm produces some of the best coffee in the world. We get this bean variety from the Chacon family. They leave some of the pulp on the coffee seed during the drying process. This pulp melts slightly and becomes a sticky, honey like substance. The extra flavor is incredible.

Our Guatemalan Beans Add Volcanic Flare

The Antigua region has made its name as a coffee-producing region. The three volcanoes found in the region lend their ash to the nearby soil. This helps the ground retain moisture and makes it especially fertile for beans. These Antigua beans have notes of caramel, citrus, and oak.
